Individual and Technology

 

Professor Astrid Rosenthal-von der Pütten researches within her professorship Individual and Technology at the interface of psychology and computer science. Her focus is on the areas of human-computer-interaction, like artificial intelligence and social robots, and media psychology in the fields of social media and media neuroscience.

 

The research group of Professor Rosenthal-von der Pütten conducts experimental laboratory and long-term studies covering the processes of social cognition in human-technology-interaction and the successful integration of those technologies in real life settings. She investigates the effects on users and their social and nursing environment. The focus of interdisciplinary research and developments projects is on the development and evaluation of artificial intelligent agents and/or robots and their behavior in interactions.
